With Vennela 1 ½ having been completed, enthusiasm and jauntiness is already in the air. The low-key sequel to Deva Katta's Vennela launches Kishore, who became popular after the film, as director. Produced by Vasu and Varma on Gr8 (which is 'great'), the film has music by Sunil Kashyap of It's My Love Story fame.

Starring Chaitanya Krishna and Monal Gajjar, the film is fast wrapping up the shoot and post-production works also. The producers are planning to release the audio in the last week of January. The film, in all probability, may hit the screens for the Valentine's Day.

Announcing about the audio release, Vennela Kishore said that he was already on a cloud nine. Thanking the musician and the lyricists (Chaitanya, Sira Sri and Shrimani), he said that it was they who lent life to the film.

The comic tracks in this much-touted laughter flick features Brahmanandam and Tagubothu Ramesh. The presence of these in-currency comedians, along with the director himself, who is on a roll excelling in a string of interesting roles (including a gay in IMLS), gives us a taste of what is in the pudding.

While cinematography is by Suresh Bhargav and editing is by Dharmendra, the film is set in the backdrop of Bangkok and other places in Thailand.
