Days after the release of Oh My Friend, its director Venu Sriram's father passed away on Sunday morning when he fell from the third floor of their house. It is a matter of enormous grief for the director, whose debut film was released only two days ago.

The incident took place at Ibrahimpatnam, where the family lives.
