After the big hit Salt’ N Pepper, director Aashiq Abu is ready with his new movie ’22, Female Kottayam’ which carries an interesting tag line ‘No bullshit’. As you expects it to be , the director is unfazed with the pressure of creating another feel good movie and is into a darker subject this time, much different from his previous ventures. Starring Rima Kallingal and Fahad Fazil in the lead, 22FK is a female-centric film with one of the more powerful woman characters in recent Malayalam cinema.

The director who proved the power of Internet marketing with his ‘Salt N Pepper’ which had its houseful premier shows though without a sellable big star, is back to create a hoopla around this new film too. This time his sensational promotional materials include the ‘true to life’ visuals of powerful women from various cities who act best to combat their everyday problems. The videos posted in the title ‘Two girl and women’ ‘girl in the bus’ and ‘Aunty in a blue saree’ are already a rage with the Internet population. The promos and designs are made by Papaya media, whose creative brilliance in marketing had been the back born of the success of many recent films. The movie is produced by OGEE (O G Sunil) under the banner of Film Brewery.The music by Rex Vijayan(Avial Band) while Shyju Khalid handles the cinematography.

Interestingly, the movie has also related its reel length to the title of the film ‘22FK’. And now it will have duration of 2 hours and 2 minutes (2:2). Get ready to watch this very special female aged 22, hailing from Kottayam on the 13th of this month.
