Veteran actor Mikkilineni dead

Veteran Telugu actor Mikkilineni Radhakrishna died on Tuesday in Vijayawada. 96 year old Mikkilineni hails from Kolavennu of Krishna district.

He debuted in Telugu cinema in 1949 with the film 'Deeksha'. Mikkilineni is adept in dramatics and entered film industry with huge experience in drama and stage plays. He played roles in flicks like 'Daana Veera Shura Karna','Pandava Vanavasam','Sampoorna Ramayanam' etc.

He acted in over 350 films so far.  Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Bhairavadweepam' was his last film. He has been unwell for quite some time and was hospitalised. He was kept on ventilator due to ill health. Family sources say he died in the early hours of Tuesday.

His body is kept in Moghalrajapuram in Krishna district for people to pay tributes.
