Vijay has just one movie to go for his fiftieth movie. However, his current project is equally an anticipated one. Sun Pictures’ ‘Vettaikkaran’ is said to have completed almost 90 percent of its shooting.

Most of his movies released in Diwali have been successful. So considering this fact, our Ilaya Thalapathy is looking forward to release ‘Vettaikkaran’ this Diwali. If he succeeds, he will rival with Suriya’s ‘Aadhavan’ and Jayam Ravi’s ‘Peranmai’. However Sun Pictures will have the final word on Vettaikkaran’s release.

Meanwhile, the movie has a song sequence to finish. Reports have it that the song will be canned in the locales of New Zealand. The shooting is expected to take place in October first week as the movie’s leading lady Anushka is currently busy with ‘Singam’.
