Vidya Balan reported to have been admitted to Khar Hinduja Hospital, following severe pain in her back. Speculations are rife that she might be suffering from kidney stone.

It so happened that Vidya and hubby Siddharth Roy Kapur were flying abroad to celebrate New Year. However as soon as the couple boarded a connecting flight from Abu Dhabi, Vidya felt an intense pain in her back and immediately paramedics were called on board. The situation was so bad, that the couple were deplaned and Vidya underwent further examination at the airport. Later they took a return flight to Mumbai, where Vidya was admitted to the hospital.
