Holding the Film Fare award in his hand for his sterling performance in 'Dhuniya' and a state award for the same performance earlier in the year Vijay is now has two impressive offers 'Junglee' for producer Rockline Venkatesh that will be directed by 'Dhuniya' fame director Soori and Vijay will be playing title role in 'Cheetah' (it is titled as 'Chirathe' in Kannada).

'Gaja' director Madesh will be taking up 'Chirathe' film for producer Mohan. For both the films the six pack developed by Vijay from severe exercises from last three months would be very fitting he says speaking to this correspondent at his residence in Kathariguppa. After completing the two tough films that require the physique Vijay will be doing a film in the direction of M.S.Ramesh. He has so far from 'Dhuniya' has releases like Chanda, Yuga and Avva. He has films 'Mukyamantri I Love You', 'Slum Bala' and 'Putta' getting ready for release.

Appreciating the magnificent Film Fare award evening in Nehru Indoor stadium in Chennai on last Saturday Vijay said such functions should be held in Bangalore to thrill the film admirers. He never thought that he would win but when he saw the list that his film is also in the competition he became very excited. He received the prestigious award of FF from top South Indian actress Meena. When Vijay came on to the stage the clipping of Vijay carrying the dead mother in his hands in 'Dhuniya' film was focused for a thunderous applause.

After four and half hours well attended FF function Vijay did not attend the party at The Park Hotel.
