Date of commencement of 'Thalapathy 61'

Yesterday it was confirmed that comedy cum supporting actor Sathyan has teamed up with Ilayathalapathy Vijay yet again for 'Thalapathy 61' which will be directed by Atlee and produced by Sri Thenandal Films banner.

We had reported earlier that the shooting of this much anticipated film will begin in February in Chennai. Now sources reveal that 'Thalapathy 61' will go on floors on February 2, 2017 in Chennai. The team will have the prelimnary shoot at a set erected in Chennai.

Later in Summer the crew will move to USA as predominant portions of the film are expected to be canned in foreign locations.
