Thalapathy VIjay's 60th film 'Bairavaa' released in January 2017 for the Pongal festival weekend and took a tremendous opening. The film, despite getting mixed reviews stands as one of the top five highest grossing Tamil films of the year.

'Bairavaa' has been dubbed into Telugu as 'Agent Bairavaa' and this version hit the screens across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana yesterday (July 7).

Despite being dubbed film, 'Agent Bairavaa' has reported collected Rs.47.8 lakhs on its Day 1. This once again proves the growing popularity of Vijay and the patronage for his films among Telugu speaking audience.

'Agent Bairavaa' stars Keerthy Suresh as female lead and noted Tollywood actor Jagapati Babu as the lead villain. The film has been directed by Bharathan.
