These two share a great bond and their friendship has been evident over the years with Vijay praising Dhanush on several occasions and vice versa. Dhanush who has become a Pan Indian star with Raanjhaana, he has recently bagged the best male debut award in Filmfare awards and has been receiving several wishes from friends and one amongst them is our Ilayathalapathy.

Vijay who has praised Dhanush for his skillful acting has sent a Bouquet with a message that congratulates Dhanush. We are also hearing that the actor is said to have wished Dhanush over a phone call personally. Well this is a healthy sign for Tamil Cinema indeed!
