80% occupancy and 8th week ahead for 'Theri'

Even after seven weeks of release and a rush of Kollywood releases that included some big budget and most expected film. Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Theri' that released on April 14 is still continuing its run in Chennai box office as well as other centers of Tamil Nadu. This proves Vijay is the most fitting contender for the 'Vasool Chakravarthy' title rightly attributed by none other than Kalaipuli.S.Thanu the producer of 'Theri'. .

In Chennai the Atlee directed flick has entered the successful eighth week. In the weekend between May 27 to May 29 the film has 21 shows screened across seven theaters in Chennai. Even in the eighth week the film has got a whopping 80% theater occupancy and has collected Rs.3,48,640.

The overall collections made by the film in Chennai between April 14 to May 29 stands at Rs.11, 35,08,410.
