Actor Vijay Sethupathi's 'Karuppan' released for the Aayudha Pooja festival weekend on Friday last (Septmber 29, 2017)). As usual the busiest hero of Kollywood will be starting his next film today (October 2) which happens to be the Gandhi Jayanthi. 

As we had reported earlier, Vijay Sethupathi will act in the lead role and also produce the film 'Junga' directed by Gokul. Sayyesha of 'Vanamagan' fame will be playing the female lead in this film. 

The shooting of 'Jumba' will commence today in Paris the capital of France. This will be a 30 day long schedule. The film will be predominantly shot in the country as Vijay Sethupathi is touted to play a don in this film. 

It is worth recalling that 'Idharkuthaney Aasaipattai Balakumara',  Vijay Sethupathi's previous film with director Gokul released on the same date in the year 2013. 

An official press release states that the film has been sold for a big price even before the shooting had commenced. A & P Groups has acquired the film’s rights for a fancy price.
