Vijayakanth back on starting blocks

Vijayakanath is all geared up to commence his next film. The ace actor of Tamil cinema, who has managed to establish himself successfully in politics too, will have his next film titled MGR.

Vijayakanth is a great admirer of MGR, the matinee idol and one of the successful Chief Ministers of Tamilnadu. He had used the actor’s name during his election campaign too.

Interestingly MGR would be Vijayakanth's 150th film.

Buzz is that the movie would be produced and directed by Madesh, a one-time associate of director Shankar.

Quite appropriate to the title, the movie would have a strong political message.

The title has been registered with the chamber. Plans are on to shoot the movie in abroad.
