Reports say that Vijaykant is planning to hold a massive rally to show his power . Thousands of fans from various parts of the State are expected to assemble at a venue soon to be decided. The actor has planned to hold the meeting in the Vanniyar belt considered a strong hold of PMK. The PMK too is gearing up to counter this offensive .

The two major Dravidian parties have yet to come out in the open about this issue but is said to be closely watching the ongoing war. There are indications that if the PMK offensive continues Vijaykant might convert his fan clubs into a political party and its fan club flags and symbols be used as that of a political party . It's main aim would be to bring about a caste free society.
