Recently SAC was at a Iftar celebration in Theni and he said that out of 33 districts that has Vijay fan clubs 6 of them are spearheaded by Muslim fans. Being an ardent film maker himself, had gone through struggle those days and was heaved out by one of his Muslim friend who helped him with 10lakh which is worth crores these days.

He further said that the family is Indian at heart and they respect all religions as one. Which is precisely the reason when Vijay was admitted in school SAC filled the religion category as Indian and to date the certificate remains the same.
