We had already reported that Vijay`s 'Jilla' was bought by a producer to remake in Telugu with Junior NTR and Venkatesh, but later decided to dub the film keeping in mind the huge following Illayathalapathy enjoys in Andhra.

Director Naesan has shot additional comedy scenes involving Brahmanandam for the Telugu version and the release date will be announced soon. Telugu audiences are sure to love the colorful bonanza that Vijay presents along with Mohanlal, Kajal Agarwal and others.
