Vikram Prabhu's 'Sathriyan' is based on a True incident happened in Trichy

Actor Vikram Prabhu's 'Sathriyan' had its audio release today. The songs composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja have started getting positive reviews from all corners.

'Sathriyan' formerly titled as 'Mudi Sooda Mannan' has been directed by S.R.Prabhakar of 'Sundarapandian' and 'Idhu Kadhirvelan Kadhal' fame. The project has been bankrolled by the fabled production banner Sathya Jyothi Movies.

The official press statement released by the production house ahead of music release, confirms that the shooting has been wrapped up and the post-production works are in final stages.

The story of 'Sathriyan' is the fictional adaptation of a true incident happened in Trichy. Predominant portions of the film have been shot in Trichy.

Manjima Mohan has played the female lead opposite Vikram Prabhu. This is her second film in Tamil after the super hit 'Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiayda'.

The film also has a second lead pair. `Vettaiyan' Kavin who is famous in small screen circuit is making his silver screen debut playing an important role in this film. Aishwarya Dutta who has acted in 'Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum' and 'Aarathu Sinam' will be acting as Kavin's love interest.

Veteran Kannada actress Tara is making a comeback in Tamil playing an important role in this film. The supporting cast includes Sharath Lohithashwa, Aruldas, R.K.Vijay Murugan, Soundararajan, Poster Nandakumar and others.

Sivakumar Vijayan has cranked the camera. Venkatram Mohan has taken care of Editing. R.K.Vijay Murugan has headed the Art Direction department. Vairamuthu, Snehan and Vivekh have penned the lyrics. Twin stunt choreographers Anbariv have designed the stunt sequences.

'Sathriyan' has been produced by Sendhil Thiyagarajan and Arjun Thiyagarajan on a grand scale.
