Kalaipuli S Thanu is a pioneer in creating killer marketing strategies for his films which ensured that he has a near hundred percent strike rate of hits to his credits. His recent Kabali` took such a huge collection at the box offices due to the Superstar Rajinikanth charisma coupled with the Thanu marketing touch. For the Kajol-Dhanush starrer VIP2` the ace producer held the audio launch in Mumbai making it a capital event.

Thanu`s next project is Sketch` directed by Vijay Chander and starring Vikram and Tamannaah in the lead role. It is reported that a London audio launch is planned for the film as the songs of S.S. Thaman is said to have come out real good. The film is planned as a Ayudha Pooja or Diwali release this year.
