Already busy with multiple projects, 'Kalavani' fame Vimal has committed one more 'interesting film'. Titled 'Unmai Sonnal Nesippaya' (a popular line from a chartbuster song in 'Ayudha Ezhuthu') the movie will be directed by Ravi, a newcomer.

"The script narrated by Ravi was so interesting that Vimal could not find a reason to deny it. So he grabbed the offer to play the lead role," say sources, adding that the film will be set in the backdrop of areas in and around Tirupur and Erode.

"It will be based on real life incidents that took place some years ago in the region. A lively entertainer, Unmai Sonnal Nesippaya will have some touching moments too. A popular actress will be roped in to play the female lead," add the sources.

Besides this film, Vimal is currently busy with 'Neerparavaigal' directed by Seenu Ramasamy and 'Ishtam' which is a remake of Telugu hit 'Yemaindhi Eevela'. He will also start shooting for a humourous entertainer titled 'Anaithukkum Aasaipadu' and UTV's 'Masala Cafe' under Sundar C's direction which is an out-and-out laugh riot.
