Vimal is no more part of National Award winning director Seenu Ramasamy's next directorial venture, tentatively titled 'Neerparaivagal'. The 'Kalavani' actor has been replaced by Vishnu of 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu and 'Kullanari Kootam' fame.

"Since Vimal was unable to allot dates for the project due to his prior commitments, Seenu Ramasamy has decided to go ahead with Vishnu. The director feels Vishnu as a right choice for the role," sources say.

A movie that dwells on the lives of fishermen in and around Nagapattinam, 'Neerparavaigal' is also said to be having a romantic angle to it. It will be produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin under the Red Giant Movies banner.

Buzz is that popular writer Jeyamohan is taking care of the script, in association with Seenu Ramasamy. "The movie will be an emotional take on various issues faced by the fishermen. It will repeat Thenmerku Paruvakaatru's magic," sources add.'
