Vimal has been roped in by director Saravanan to play the lead role in a film titled 'Anjala'. The movie, tipped to be a feel good entertainer, will have Nandhitha as female lead.
"While Vimal plays a mechanic who wants to set up his own garage, Nandhitha plays a college girl in 'Anjala'," sources in the know say.
The film will breezy entertainer laced with romance and comedy, they say, adding: Music will be composed by Gopi Sundar of 'Bangalore Days' fame, who is also scoring for Karthi's next film with Nagarjuna.
