Dhanush's 'VIP 2' is scheduled to release this Friday (August 11th) and the advance bookings have started from today. However, only the Tamil version of the film will be releasing this week.

The Telugu and Hindi versions will most likely be released a week later that is on August 18th. In this case, 'VIP 2' will clash with 'Anando Brahma'.

The sequel retains the star cast of the first part that includes Amala Paul. Samuthirakani, Vivek, Hrishikesh and others. The new inclusions are Kajol. Monal Gajjar. 'Big Boss' Raiza and many others. Music is by Sean Roldan instead of Anirudh. Dhanush has written the story and dialogues apart from acting in lead role.
