Srikant and Kamalini Mukherjee are playing the main leads in 'Virodhi' under the direction of Neelakanta of 'Show' and 'Missamma'-fame, with Anil Meka producing the film on the banner of Meka Productions.

The film is most likely to hit the screens in July. After a long gap, Neelakanta is wielding the megaphone and he was an expert in penning excellent screenplay and he bagged a national award for his skills too.

It is learnt that the film is based on a socio-political backdrop and the film is touted to be a thriller. Srikant is donning the role of a journalist while Kamalini is playing a software engineer.

Srikant is running a lean period and is hoping to return to the winning track with this film.
