A few hours back it was said that actor-producer Vishal will be contesting for the Presidential post of Tamil Film Producers Council in the upcoming elections to be held on March 5, 2017.

Now it has just become official. Vishal has filed the nomination to contest the elections as the Presidential candidate.

In his capacity as a member with voting rights. actor-producer Kamal Haasan who is one of the partners in Raj Kamal Film Internationals production banner has proposed the name of Vishal to contest as President as per the norms to file nomination papers.

Vishal who also holds the General Secretary post of Nadigar Sangam will soon announce the other candidates of his team to contest in the Producers Council elections.
