Actor Vishal's 'Kathakali' and 'Rajini Murugan' produced by Lingsamy have been well received by audience and critics and they are fast marching towards the Hit status.

Now the stage is set for the long expected teaming up of Lingusamy and Vishal for the sequel of their blockbuster 'Sandakozhi'. Lingsamy will be directing 'Sandakozhi 2' with Vishal in the lead role.

Sources reveal that Vishal will start shooting for 'Sandakozhi 2' immediately after wrapping up 'Marudhu' directed by Muthiah of 'Komban' fame. Sources say that the shooting of 'Sandakozhi 2' can be expected to start in February 2016.

Meera Jasimine and Rajkiran who played important roles in the first part are expected to be retained in the sequel and another leading heroine will be cast in the film.
