The team headed by Vishal had a near sweeping victory in the Tamil Film Producers Council Elections held on Sunday. Vishal who is already the General Secretary of Nadigar Sangam will all be the President of the Producers Council.

Director Gautham Menon, Actor Prakash Raj, Producers Gnanavel Raja and S.R.Prabhu are part of Vishal's 'Namma Ani' and they have won the top posts of the Council.

The victorious team is expected assume charge after a grand inaugural function to be held on April 6th at Sri Raghavendra Kalayana Mandapam in Kodambakkam Chennai. The wedding hall is owned by none other than the Superstar Rajinikanth.

Vishal has requested that all the members of Council should attend the event with their family members.

The actor-producer also revealed that a committee will be formed to check the rampant pirated DVDs of new Tamil films and director Mysskin who contested the elections on behalf of Namma Ani will head this committee. The committee will be formed in the first Executive Council meeting of the Producers Council after the new team assumes charge.
