According to reliable sources the Naidgar Sangam President Nasser, General Secretary Vishal, Treasurer Karthi, Vice Presidents Karunas and Ponvannan seems to have met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha at the Fort St.George in Chennai. It is their first meeting with the CM after assuming office in the Nadigar Sangam.

Vishal has confirmed the meeting and has stated that the meeting was fantastic and the CM assured the Government's full support to the Sangam.

it is being said that the Nadigar Sangam office-bearers handed over the financial aid to the CM, for the Government's Rain relief and rehabilitation works. But there is no official confirmation on this.
