Vishal and R.K. Selvamani give updates about FEFSI strike

The TFPC posted an advertisement calling for new people to work as movie technicians which caused the FEFSI to announce a strike from the 1st of September which is continuing for the fifth day today. The organization, comprising of 23 unions of various crafts had also planned an agitation against the producers today at Valluvar Kottam.

Meanwhile the FEFSI chief R.K. Selvamani met TFPC President Vishal in the Producer Council office and it looks like a consensus has been arrived at between the two parties . R. K. Selvamani speaking to newsmen has stated that there is good progress in the talks and that the strike could be called off in a couple of days. Vishal for his part said that pulling out the ad will be discussed and then decided upon. FEFSI has also called off the agitation that was planned.
