Actor and Nadigar Sangam General Secretary Vishal has been involved in various philanthropic activities and he has extended a large helping hand to not just the impoverished members of the Nadigar Sangam but also to the common people struggling with poverty.

The tall and handsome actor has done this yet again for the children of the victim of a road accident.

A few months ago, Munusamy (53) a carpenter residing in Taramani, Chennai was mowed down to death by a car driven by a woman under the influence of alcohol. While the culprit has been arrested the victim's family is still suffering as they have lost their bread-winner. Munusamy's children Anand and Divya are 11th and third grade students in a Chennai (Corporation) School at Tiruvanmiyur. Vishal has undertaken the educational expenses of Anand and Devi from school to college. The siblings can study whatever they wish without having to mind about fees as that will be sponsored by Vishal's Devi Trust.

Vishal's Trust will also take care of the school and college expenses of 6th grade student Akash and third grade student Santhosh. The two children are the sons of Blade Selvam who suffered a heart attack at the shooting spot of 'Kaththi Sandai' and died eventually.
