Vishal is in the news for the past few days. A couple of days ago for his forthcoming venture 'Samaran' getting rechristened as 'Samar', and on Thursday for his new film with Sundar C being named as 'Madha Gaja Raja' ('MGR').

Now its as good as official that he will act in a movie to be helmed by Saravanan of 'Engaeyum Eppothum' fame. To be produced by Lingusamy's Tirupathi Brothers banner, the film will have Pranitha as the leading lady.

"The movie was initially set to have Arya in the lead. While Vishal was actually signed by Lingusamy for Sandakozhi-2. Since Arya opted out of the project and it might take some time for Lingusamy to start Sandakozhi-2, Vishal's dates were shifted to the Saravanan's directorial venture," sources say.

Touted to be an action entertainer, a straight contrast to 'Engaeyum Eppothum', the yet-to-be-titled film will hit the floors soon. It is said Pranitha, who made her debut in Kollywood with 'Udhayan' and currently busy with Karthi's 'Saguni', is thrilled about bagging an offer opposite Vishal.
