Usually a director of action has opened up with words in a rare interview to the media on his upcoming project, 'Arrambam'. The film is 'Thala' Ajith's 53rd and that is not all that created so much curiosity about the film. As is well known, until recently the film remained untitled, which increased the expectations about the movie, multitudes more. Speaking on the movie, Vishnuvardhan said "We were not prepared for the hype that the movie would create, owing to the fact that the project's title was not declared until recently. We had multiple ideas and we finalized on this title, as it best suited the story.

And since the title came out, the response from all audience is consistently overwhelming, and our team is very happy with the sort of attention 'Arrambam' is receiving. Ajith sports his salt and pepper look in this movie, like his striking style in 'Mankathaa' and the story is racy and catchy than it felt in our earlier collaboration 'Billa'. The central character, played by Ajith, portrays a valiant warrior, with the roles of Nayanthara, Arya and Taapsee as pillars."
