An expensive song was picturised on a huge a set for R Parthiban’s ‘Viththagan’, recently. The number that was canned at Binny Mills in Chennai, was based on the theme ‘global warming’. Interestingly, it was penned by Parthiban himself.

“I want to convey a message in the song. Hence I chose global warming as the topic, as it is the biggest threat the world is facing now,” says the actor-director.

He adds: “Art director Vijay Murugan erected a grand set with black as its backdrop. Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya, models Sweety and Netania were roped in. And the song ‘Pathikkum Kattaiyum…’ was picturised without any compromise.”

Heaping praise on cinematographer M S Prabhu, he says, “The cinematographer worked hard to give the song the much-need mood of global warming. The number will no doubt be one of the highlights of the movie.”

With Poorna opposite Parthiban, ‘Viththagan’ is touted to be an action entertainer with usual ingredients of Parthiban. The movie is expected to hit the screens soon.
