He made us laugh as a policeman. And he tickled our funny bone as a thief. This time, Vivek is all set to steal the scene by playing a dual role - that of a strict police official and an intelligent thief.

The comedian is doing it for 'Kadamai Kanniyam Kattupadu', a Tamil remake of Bollywood hit 'Ab Tak Chappan', and the Tamil version will star RK of Ellam Avan Seyal', 'Azhagarmalai' and 'Avan Ivan' fame.

"Vivek is doing a double-act in this film and every scene in which he appears will be a scream. As an upright police officer, he would run behind a thief, a character which too is played by himself," say sources.

Two schedules of the shooting are over and RK is doing the role played by Nana Patekar in the original. Directed by Shaji Kailash, the film has Madurima, Rajeev Krishna, Thilakan and Radha Ravi in pivotal roles.
