Vadivelu established himself as a successful comedian and essayed the role of a hero in Imsai Arasan, a historical satire. Vadivelu is acting in the title role in another historical movie Indiralohathil Na Azhagappan now.

Vivek, who is also a popular comedian, is all set to play the title role in a historical movie. Though Vivek's maiden venture as hero in Solli Adippen is still lying in the cans, the ace comedian is all set to play the lead role in Kodambakathil Parthasarathy.

Says Vivek, “My forthcoming film Pasupathy C/O Rasakapalayam along side Ranjith is ready for release. It is a hilarious entertainer directed by Selvabharathy. After which I would commence acting in Kodambakathil Parthasarathy. It is produced by Moserbaer and directed by Hariharan”.

Asked whether he would bid bye to playing comical roles, Vivek says, “No. Comedy is my forte. I would still continue to do humor roles. I have signed to act in Vijay's ‘Kuruvi’ and Vikram's ‘Kanthaswamy’”.

On Solli Adippen, Vivek says, “I believe it has crossed all hurdles and hopefully hit the screens on 8 November”.
