'Shootout At Wadala', the sequel of the popular film ‘Shootout At Lokhandwala’, is facing trouble… The project which was supposed to go on floors long back is facing casting issues now.

Vivek Oberoi who was among the four male leads besides Anil Kapoor, John Abraham and Tusshar Kapoor, is reported to be no longer in the film. Going by sources, there are various reasons for his exit. First, from director Sanjay Gupta’s point of view, it is said that he was not pleased with Vivek’s lack of response, which was the main reason behind the film’s delay.

Gupta stated to sources that the actor took very long time to give his consent for the project, which irked the director. So much, that he ran out of patience and demanded Vivek to return back the script. "We ran out of patience. I don't put up with such behaviour. We don't want Vivek in the film now. We have also asked him to return the script," quoted Gupta in a media interview.

On the other hand producer Ekta Kapoor puts it in subtle manner stating that it’s the director who has the last say and Gupta felt that they needed someone with a different personality than Vivek, who was meant to play Dawood Ibrahim in ‘Shootout At Wadala’.

While the man himself, Vivek maintained that it was due to date issues that he is not doing 'Shootout At Wadala', since he is having six films on hand. He also said that it is natural for Gupta to be angry as they are good friends and it is common to have such things happen between friends.

Now the question is who will be next, to play Dawood in this film... We will wait and watch...
