Ahead of formally launching Chiranjeevi's Kathilantodu today (April 29), VV Vinayak conducted a special puja at Antarvedi Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in East Godavari district yesterday.

Speaking to the media after the puja, Vinayak said that although he had directed Mega heroes like Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan in the past, getting the opportunity to direct the first film under Konidela Productions of Ram Charan made him feel lucky.

The film will go on the floors in the first week fo June. The makers are planning for a grand Sankranthi release. DSP is the music director of this remake of Vijay-starrer Kathi (Tamil). Let's wait for more details about the movie during the film's launch today.
