A Mumbai waiter Praveen Kumar Pradhan has being arrested by Police for allegedly giving extortion threats to B-town Diva Madhuri Dixit Nene.

The 23-year-old man who works as waiter claimed himself to be a member of Chhota Rahjan gang.

Praveen threatened to kill the actress and her children. During interrogation, Praveen has confessed that he did send death threats to the actress for money.

However how much was the demand is not confirmed but sources close to the police claim the accused had sent four text messages to Madhuri Dixit threatening to kill her child if she did not pay a certain amount.

Police also recovered the mobile phone via which he has sent all the messages. Further investigations are on.
