Watched a Telugu movie after 23 years: Former cricket legend

A former cricketing legend has watched a Telugu movie for the first time in 23 yeas. It's Md. Azharuddin and the film is the blockbuster sleeper hit 'Pelli Choopulu'. A show was screened by producer Raj Kandukuri specially for the cricketer, who was all praise for it.

"Azhadruddin was all praise for director Tharun Bhascker and the producer for making a family entertainer. He decided to watch the movie when his son Asaduddin prodded him to", a source says.

It was EVV Sathyanarayana's 'Jamba Lakidi Pamba' that the cricketer had last watched a Telugu movie in a Vizag theatre. He reportedly said that more such movies as 'Pelli Choopulu' should be made in Telugu.
