The most eligible bachelor in Kollywood today ended his stint in that club.

Well, teen-age hearthrob Prashanth tied the knot with Grahalakshmi, the daughter of a Chennai-based businessman today. It was a star-studded event with many popular dignitaries at hand to wish the couple.

Prashanth, 28, is the son of another veteran actor Thiagarajan. The engagement ceremony was held here three months back.

Those who attended the marriage included Malaysian Minister Dato Samuvel and his wife, 'Cho' Ramaswamy, Manirathinam and his wife actress Suhasini, Nagesh, Vijayakanth and S V Sekar.

Prashanth, who entered cinema in 1992, made his debut in the film Vaikasi Poranthachu. He has acted in nearly 50 films and in the film Jeans he was cast opposite leading Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai.

Leading lights of Bollywood including Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan and politicians including Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa are expected to attend the reception later in the day.
