Movie Journalist has wielded the megaphone for the first time to direct the film,'Weekend'. He was successful in getting the nod of 'Real Star' Srihari to act in this movie.
Adith, who has previously acted in the film,'Katha' along with Genelia, has been roped in to play the lead role in this movie. A very good cast like Supriya Sailaja M.S.Narayana, Chandramohan, Raghu Babu, Hema, Thagubothu Ramesh, Fish Venkat, Dhanraj etc were recruited for the movie.
The title itself says that the movie is going to be a new age love story. The love story revolves between two software engineers and Srihari played a company owner.
Every thing seemed going well for the director, but to the shock of the movie team, 'Real Star' Srihari has passed away at the midst of production. Everyone thought that the movie would be halted. But the producers have decided to go forward and the movie was back on track.
Sekhar Chandra has given a very good music and the songs are very good. The movie will be releasing soon and hope the movie will turn out as a good success for the whole team.
