Director Vijay and Amala Paul celebrated their first wedding day on Friday (June 12). We learn that the couple gave a private dinner to family members and close friends at a houseboat in Kumarakom.
"Both Amala and Vijay took a break from their work and ensured that they spent the day with their loved ones. Wishes poured in on them from various quarters, including fans, friends, colleagues and well-wishers," sources said.
Vijay and Amala, who worked together in films such as 'Deiva Thirumagal' and 'Thalaivaa', fell in love with each other. With the blessings of elders in both the families, they entered wedlock at a traditional event in Chennai on June 12 last year.
