Venkatesh, the name itself brings to mind many family oriented, action and entertaining roles. He is best known for his story selection and is often called as a producer's hero.

He made Victory as his surname with many outstanding hits. But recently, he has not scored a proper hit except SVSC. Though SVSC is a hit, it is a known fact that Mahesh has stole the show in that film.

His previous films to it 'Bodyguard', 'Nagavalli', 'Namo Venkatesha' have not performed well at the box office. His recently released 'Shadow' in the direction of Meher Ramesh is being termed as one of the biggest disasters in his career.
