Mandakini is yet another film dubbed from Tamil. It features that cubby Keerthi Chawla of Aadi fame in the heroine's role. Krish and Shiva play two important roles.

The film, say the makers, has an exciting point. "After talking with his girl over phone, the hero leaves the mobile in the club in a state of forgetfulness. When the villain picks it up, he notes down the girl’s number, speaks to her and gets to know the address, by posing himself as a courier boy. What does the villain do to the girl at her home? How does the hero react to this?" the makers say.

Directed by Sanjay, the film has music by Surya. Cinematography is by Vivek Kumar.
