What next? A TV channel?

Having turned a politician, actor Vijayakanth is now gearing up to start a satellite channel of his own.

According to sources close to him, Vijayakanth was highly upset the way in which his maiden political conference was covered in the two popular satellite channels in the State.

In order to popularize his Desiya Marumalarchi Dravida Kazhagam, Vijayakanth has decided to start a new satellite channel with which he hopes to reach out to the masses. The channel would be named 'AATV' meaning Andal Azhagar televisions, a close aide of the actor said.

However efforts to contact Vijayakanth over the issue went in vain.
