Sundar C's much-delayed film ‘Vaada’, directed by A Venkatesh, is finally ready to see the light of the day on April 16. This action-packed movie loaded with commercial ingredients has Sheryll Brindo as female lead.

Produced by Mohan Radha of Screenplay Entertainment, the film has Sundar essaying the role of a man who avenges a person for playing spoilsport in his life. Sheryll Brindo acts as an ardent fan of MGR, while Vivek will imitate yesteryear comedian Suruli Rajan. Khushboo would be making a cameo appearance for a song.

D Imman has remixed the yesteryear racy number ‘Ennadi Rakkama’ from the Sivaji Ganesan starrer ‘Pattikada Pattanamma’. Venkatesh is confident that the movie would find favour with the masses. “An action-packed comical entertainer is always a huge draw. I am confident that it would click at the box office,” he says.

Meanwhile Sundar has a couple of releases lined up that includes ‘Guru Sishyan’ and ‘Nagaram Marupakkam’, a sequel to ‘Thalainagaram’. Venkatesh is busy with ‘Maanja Velu’, ‘Vallakottai’ and ‘Kaval Thurai’.
