Earlier being referred to as Diwali releases, 'Mayakkam Enna' and 'Osthi' are now two films Tamil film patrons are eagerly awaiting due to reasons many. Now the latest is that 'Osthi' will see a November release, and 'Mayakkam Enna' an early December release.

While trade sources have expressed that Silambarasan aka STR's 'Osthi' will see a November 25 release, on his social networking page Simbu has expressed, "Osthi confirmed for a November 24 worldwide release!"

Meanwhile it is said that Gemini Film Circuits who are marketing 'Mayakkam Enna' have started booking theatres from December 2, clearly bringing about a week's difference between both the releases and avoiding a clash at the BO.

Samuthrakani – Sasikumar's 'Poraali' might be pushed to December as well, and might release on December 9 while Parthiepan's 'Vithagan' will see a solo release on November 18.
