R Parthiepan has revealed a secret, after more than a decade. That he rejected Nayanthara to play the heroine of 'Kudaikkul Mazhai', since she could not turn up for audition.

"She asked whether she could come the next day. But I was not in a position to accept her request. Perhaps, that's why she has become a top heroine now," says the actor-director in a lighter vein.

Parthiepan, who gave the much noticed 'Kadhai Thiraikadhai Vasanam Iyakkam' last year, is now busy with a string of movies, including 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan', 'Masss' and 'Soodhadi'. He will soon direct a film titled 'Kadhai Irukku'.
