As they say, it pays to be a celebrity... Having a celebrity as a parent is quite tough besides having its own merits.

Shraddha Kapoor the daughter of Bollywood baddie Shakti kapoor, who is two film old and her third film which is with Vishesh Films’ ‘Aashiqui 2’ opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor, was popular in her school due to her father filmy image. Recalls the young beauty, "My friends used to tease me a lot. They used to tease me with his characters like Raja Babu, Nandu Sabka Bandu and I used to feel nice. I used to be popular in school because of my father. So it was a good feeling."

Going further, Shraddha said, "I used to go with him on the sets of his films. He always played the villain and I would see him in that avatar and I used to think where I have come. Then my parents made me understand that this is what shooting is and that my father was acting. Then I found it interesting. I would go on his sets and I have grown up watching his movies. To have such an actor as my father, I cannot explain what a proud feeling it is."

This young bug of the family gets lot of advice from her actor dad and actress aunt (Padmini Kohlapuri). Said Shraddha, "My family gives me lot of advice. That is a great part of having a family in the same industry. So of course dinner table conversations revolve around films and film making. They do guide me and are a massive resource for me; I would be silly not to use them. When my first will didn’t do well at the box office I was upset. It was my first film and it was very special. I was quite heartbroken but then I understood and my parents made me understand that it is a part and parcel. Success and failures come and go and you have to brush it off. Then I got Luv ka The End which was one of the greatest experiences of my life."

Directed by Mohit Suri, 'Aashiqui 2' is slated for 26th April 2013.
