Suriya seems to be clear about his plans for the year. The actor, who is busy shooting for 'Maatraan' even as hosting 'Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi' on small screen, will start his forthcoming projects soon.

"Suriya's immediate venture will be a movie to be made by Venkat Prabhu. It will be a comedy thriller. In fact it will belong to buddy cop genre which is quite new in Tamil cinema. He will start working on it from May or June and complete it in a few months time," sources say.

"After that, Suriya will join hands with his lucky mascot Hari for a sequel to their 2010 blockbuster Singam. The film will have Anushka and Hansika Motwani as heroines. Shooting will start in October," they add.

Suriya and Hari earlier rendered three hits - 'Aaru', 'Vel' and 'Singam'. Their sequel to 'Singam' will start from where the first part ended. This time, Suriya is expected to hunt down criminals in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu.
