Which Khan will it be in Gautham Menon's next?

It looks like director Gautham Vasudev Menon who is awaiting the release of ‘Ekk Deewana Tha’ (a remake of Tamil blockbuster Vinnaithandi Varuvaya) will be back with another remake shortly in B-town for grapevine is abuzz that his 2006 Tamil hit, ‘Vettaiyaadu Villaiyaadu’ will be remade in Hindi by him.

Gautham, who forayed in Hindi cinema with the dub of his Tamil film ‘Minnale’ as ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein’, has reportedly confirmed this remake of his venture in Hindi and he is said to be toying with the idea of casting either Shahrukh Khan or Salman Khan in the lead role. Kamal Haasan played the lead in the Tamil original along with Jyothika.

‘Vettaiyaadu Villaiyaadu’, a crime thriller, was also dubbed in Telugu as 'Raghavan'. It revolves around a police officer as to how he solves a case that involves series of brutal rapes and murders.

Gautham currently has ‘Ekk Deewana Tha’, a trilingual and ‘Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru’ with Vijay in Tamil.

He’ll soon be approaching both the Khans following which an official announcement will be made.
